Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Aileene Rosales of All of central Texas!

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Aileene Rosales. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Aileene, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day start off slow and steady for the most part-
(when it’s not an event day)!
I enjoy waking up early in the morning, doing my morning prayer, going for a walk and spending time with my son Andy who is also an early bird like me. We love a good fruit bowl with pancakes (obviously!!) and will almost always plan out our day.
I’ll then go straight into work mode: emails, social media posts, inventory runs, content, zoom meetings- you name it.
I absolutely love staying busy!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Aileene born and raised here in Austin, Texas and I am the Owner of Andy’s Minis Events! At Andy’s we make it all happen by offering full event planning, balloons, from scratch design productions & packages and catering! Slowly we have expanded our list of services to better fit our clients need’s, help engage more clients with our brand and what I love doing the most: providing a experience our clients and their guest can remember forever by creating unique designs and fulfilling projects tailored to their specific needs.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
Growing up I had many examples of what it meant to work hard to achieve my dreams and goals, my family has always been super supportive and encouraging to how capable we can be and how anything is possible with hard work- really ANYTHING!

The best leading example is on my mom’s side, I have one hard working aunt, she owned a small business when I was a child and those were the first times I was really introduced to what it felt like to not only be your own boss, work hard for what I wanted but also how you can impact others and really make someone’s day by simply being kind and helpful. I’d count the days for the next day off of school or long vacation just to be able to go to work and learn from my aunt, it was truly life changing because I was able to learn entrepreneurship skills that not many my age had the opportunity to do.
It didn’t stop there- when I was a little older & legally able to start working, I started to work as a brand ambassador for my father’s Marketing Agency every chance I could get and throughout my college days at St. Edward’s. I still do it to this day as a Lead Manager sometimes when I have the availability but ultimately try to incorporate those skills into Andy’s Minis. The feeling of getting to do something fun, exciting and inspiring while getting to meet new people and help guide their own experiences fascinates me!
I can certainly say with confidence working hard has been in my blood since before I even understood how it could impact my life and that is thanks to my hard working family.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
I think it’s important to know that with success comes a lot of hard work, long nights, slow income days sometimes weeks and plenty of suffering. You’ll do it alone, you’ll do it with your loved ones but it’s most definitely inevitable.
However the beautiful thing that comes out of suffering that success doesn’t always teach, is once you’ve overcome it if you let it be, the pain turns into a good lesson.
The why not to go down that path again and the motivation to indeed overcome any obstacle becomes more than just something you hear your friends going through but becomes a part of who you are and how you navigate and grow as a human from that moment on.
In reality, suffering is what allows for other doors to open that will lead to success but it won’t happen in a day which is where the lesson of patience takes place. We can’t expect our business to grow if we don’t run into problems that will make us better or teach us a good lesson, even if we don’t see it that way at first. Maybe one day, that same lesson can be passed on to someone who’s in the shoes we once walked.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
During the 2020 pandemic I think we all went through life changing circumstances- I know I did. I was struggling to finish my senior year of college, the world was getting ready to literally shut down and to stack a cherry on top I had just found out I was 8 weeks pregnant with Andy. Survival mode ON- the drive all of a sudden was even stronger despite all of the negativity around me and why? It was thanks to my village – My close friends & family (even from 10 +ft / FaceTimes only) never gave up on me. Anyone who knows me knows my family, close friends who have become family (you know who you are 🩷) and even clients can see and tell you a big aspect of my life and my motivation is THEM! They have always provided for me no matter the situation or circumstances- my family & friends have supported my crazy decisions, helped me when I’m in crisis mode, but most of all have always allowed and push me to follow my dreams even when it seemed impossible.
Today I am blessed to be able to share my success and business with them because it’s all thanks to God and to the close people in my life who never let me give up or feel discouraged even on the bad days. I do it all to be able to give back everything they have given me and more, not because I feel obligated in anyway but because they deserve it more than anything as they are just as big a part of the journey as I am. I wouldn’t be expanding my business without them. It really does take a village and what matters most to me is mine!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
I’m building a legacy not only for myself, my family, my son, my cultural roots but for our future generations to come. My brand’s hard work and dedication will continue to bridge the gap of entrepreneurial talent in our family and their kids. Today I work hard to get our name out into the world so that in 7-10 years our books are filled non stop and we are recognized all over the country and even worldwide! Who knows? I know no dream is impossible to achieve and I pray one day this one comes true!
