Today we’d like to introduce you to Eunhwa Jung.
Eunhwa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Moving from South Korea to Texas was not an easy process but rewarding experience for me. I adapted to a new environment and met amazing people that helped push me forward on my journey. I am happiest when I am able to share my passion with family, friends, and the people who believe in me. Because of those people, I got to where I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A road becomes smooth when it has been traveled on many times. At first, the roads were unfamiliar and difficult to navigate. As I gained experience, the challenges became easier to overcome. Doubt is the biggest struggle. Surrounding yourself with people who support, inspire, and challenge you helps to fend off doubt.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I curate the clothing for my boutique. Many of my customers have never tried the styles that Jowa provides, so I help style them. I feel so excited when customers return and are happy with their new outfits. The thing that sets me apart from others is this boutique is me introducing my passion and my life to the world.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I see the industry evolving with the people with a shift towards small boutiques and quality vintage stores.
