Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Frierson.
Hi Heather, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’m a girl about faith, fashion, family, and empowering women, and I have been my whole life! My journey to narrow that down to just those 4 things, though, has been strange and unusual but exciting as I have had the opportunity to walk out my purpose by helping others discover their own. After graduating with a degree in fashion merchandising, I quickly went into vocational ministry, and that’s where I’ve been for the past twenty years. My journey taught me that it’s all about relationships, and you must be good at changing strategies! I’m the founder of a women’s leadership ministry called Created Woman, a John Maxwell Coach/Speaker/Trainer, a Christian Entrepreneur, and a podcast host. But those are just the things that I do. What I am and treasure the most is being a mom, wife, Jesus’ lover, and friend, and hopefully, after you get to know me, we’ll be friends, too!
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have been years of real ease and others with more bumps. What I have learned the hard way is when to let go of things not in my genius zone and how to hand them off to the next person. We all have strengths and weaknesses and must learn when we have reached our cap. That’s the struggle!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My passion is launching women into their dreams and purpose; my favorite way is writing and speaking. I’m most proud of hearing from other women about how my organization, Created Woman, and our team have helped others step out in faith. Whether in a business or professional goal, hearing those personal stories from others is my highest honor. What sets me apart is that I help women with their goals, but I always infuse fun and laughter! Life is too short not to have fun!
Do you have any big plans?
I launched my coaching platform this year, which I’m excited about right now! To help more women more intimately is an honor. It’s a vulnerable place for others to ask for help and to let you see behind the curtain, so I take it very seriously.
