Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Medina
Hi Jennifer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Thank you for your interest in my journey! I began my real estate career at Nan and Company Properties, Christie’s International Real Estate under my current broker, Julia Wang when she was a team lead at the time. She taught me the importance of perseverance, how to work hard, and how to achieve my goals. She is an inspiration, a joy to work with, and quickly instilled in me the habits that helped make me successful to this day. I quickly grew to love the process of helping people find their place in the world. I find it is most fulfilling to be in service to others. I was the youngest person to graduate her team at the time and I followed her to the brokerage she started, NextGen Real Estate. I quickly began to accumulate a portfolio of buildings worth over $150M that I represent on the Houston MLS as an external marketing partner and am continuing to do so while living in Austin, Texas. I have loved serving both the Houston and Austin metropolitan areas and hope to continue to do well in my professional endeavors. I currently help my clients buy, sell, lease, and invest in both, Houston and Austin.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was definitely a challenge at first to adopt a new skillset but once I got into the swing of things under the right mentorship, I found myself loving to learn and enjoy the journey, which led to my eventual success.

As a real estate agent in both Houston and in Austin, I assist my clients in buying, selling, leasing, and investing in real estate. I pride myself in service to each client and helping them achieve their unique real estate goals. I excel in negotiation, ensuring that my clients receive the best possible outcomes. I am also rather adept at marketing, utilizing my expertise to showcase properties in the best light through storytelling around them. My social media has hit over a million views on multiple occasions for my real estate business for this reason. I also do my best to maintain a meticulous timeline for each client, ensuring that every step of the process is handled efficiently. My clear and effective communication skills further enhance my ability to guide my clients smoothly through their real estate journey. I am most proud of having been able to help so many people in their unique journey. What sets me apart from others in my industry is my commitment to going the extra mile for my clients, I do my best to get the job done.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising most people who know about my work but might not know about me would be that despite how fun my profession seems, I am an avid health activist and I’m always looking for new opportunities to try something new, fun, and healthy. Whether it be a new sauna that opened up or a yoga place followed by an ice bath, I’m there! I also am very active in my communities and volunteer at the Houston Food Bank.
