Lora, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a NICU nurse and a mother raising a family in a small 1960’s ranch, seeking functionality and efficiency is just the way my brain ticks!
I was looking for a way to work more but not give away more 12 hour shifts of my time at the hospital to work with family life. Around this timeframe, a friend suggested to me to enter a silent auction for my kids’ school.
Her: “Hey! Don’t you have an organization business? Would you like to donate your time towards the silent auction?”
Me: “What?! No. Who told you that? I don’t.”
…. then I got to thinking, “Maybe I should???”. And that is how ResetATX was born.
So build it and they will come: the initial idea, brain storming and manifesting, logo/Instagram/website creating, not to mention all the fun legal paperwork…. and BOOM its done. It’s been a fun ride in entrepreneurship so far!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It’s mostly been smooth. What has been refreshing is people seem to love my suggestions of things to keep or different ways to store things. I thought I would have to convince people to streamline their belongings harder, but usually they are just ready to part with them. And if they do want to keep items that I personally wouldn’t I dont give them a hard time. I let them know they’re the boss!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I just love to create calm in a space that stresses people out.
So many have the desire to have their space(s) look and feel nice and functional, but just don’t have enough bandwidth to do it. Or are under a tight deadline and really need the boost of someone (like me!) coming in to knock out a large task (like packing). which has also lead to me unpacking their new space, too!
What are your plans for the future?
I’m just taking the future plans bit by bit. I trust good things are to come for ResetATX. We shall see!

- $85/hr for 2 hour minimum
- I will respect a max $ or time budget and do my best with the stressful space during that time.
