Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikei Salas
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I would say my story began when I was born. Everything that has happened since has brought me to the present moment. Everything has assisted in me being who I am.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not been a smooth road. But I have chosen to view the bumps as part of my journey. The most valuable education is our own experiences.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work is life teaching and inspiration. My first book, “Black Girl Gone Guru” is a brief summary, biography. I tell of how I chose to turn my obstacles into lessons of overcoming. My second book, “He Poisoned Me and Left Me for Dead” is fictional. But seeded with truth. This book was written from the intention of feeding the readers lessons on healing. Though the title seems otherwise it is a story of a young woman’s journey to self-love and self-awareness.
I know that my work of being an Author, Spiritual Guide and Well-being Educator are parts of my greatest work. Which is the continued work of my own journey. Each step of my personal growth allows me to teach or pour into others.
What’s next?
I am grateful for what my future holds. In this present moment I send love to my future self and future works.
While I am creating well-being plans for clients, online programs, life teaching content on multiple platforms, my next fictional book is being created. I look forward to birthing it soon.
