Today we’d like to introduce you to Reginald Young
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m from a small country town named “Cameron, Tx.”
Had a great childhood, graduated high school in 2008. So, I come from a time before all this internet and social media. When you really had to be outside to meet people.
Attended college but never finished, I actually still feel a way about that, but goals still will be reached. While I was in college I started/created my own clothing brand. It’s really more than just a clothing brand. Especially when its all said and done.
Moved to Austin, Tx in 2016, my only daughter was born in 2017. I love her so much, one of the reasons why this clothing journey will work. Got to leave a legacy for her.
It has been an up and down on & off journey with this clothing. Life be lifing forreal. I will never give up though because I know I have something on my hands and in my heart. My brand is called, “o’REGinal Minded™️.”
Main mission behind the brand is to “standout from the crowds of identicals.”
I’m a very introverted person but I can adapt to any room. God is also a big part of my life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. I would love a smooth road but I know that’s not how life works. You gotta go through shaky streets to appreciate the smooth roads. Lessons and blessings.
But, a few of the struggles have been financial, procrastination, doubt, worrying, discipline, etc…
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Not going to lie, I really feel like i haven’t truly accomplished anything worthy like that yet. Yeah, creating my own brand, raising my beautiful daughter are truly blessings. & Im very proud of both. But I tell myself I need to go harder everyday.
I work for Amazon, I’m a father, and I’m a clothing brand owner. Trying to make this clothing designer my main and only job. ART has always been apart of my life. & even doe I’m not where I’m going to be yet, I know its coming and I receive(d) love from the average human to some of your favorite celebrities even til this day.
What are your plans for the future?
My future plans are all about reaching my goals and transforming inside and out.
Completely getting back to the old me with this new wisdom over the years.
Doing better in every aspect of my life.
