Will, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Will Cobb, I play in a band called PARADISE, and am one of the many minds behind Dat Real Shit Productions. DRSP is a booking company for all extreme music groups. Truthfully speaking it is a relatively new new endeavor, but I would say the main goal of the operation is to inspire the younger generation to get involved in the scene, start new bands, and feel excited to be included in a community. To do that, my focus is to put on good events in a true DIY fashion, and connect with others doing the same around the area.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far so good! Of course organizing events is no easy task, but I have amazing friends to help me along the way, and that’s exactly what DRSP is all about, simply trying to introduce this lifestyle to whoever is interested!!

I am the vocalist in a hardcore band called PARADISE, more than likely that is how DRSP started, simply trying to give back to the scene my band and myself are a part of.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
We are simply a booking company, so any social media apps or blogs that help us spread the word about events are all helpful.
