Life & Work with William & Justine Griffith of Hutto,Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to William & Justine Griffith.

William & Justine Griffith

Hi William & Justine , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We’re William and Justine Griffith, a husband-and-wife real estate team based in Hutto and serving the greater Austin area. Originally from Oregon, we made the move across the country—twice—before finally settling in Central Texas and buying our first home in 2019. That experience gave us a whole new appreciation for what it really means to find a place to call home.

Our journey into real estate wasn’t the typical path. William spent over 15 years in the tech world, working in support, systems, and security, while Justine built a career in healthcare and operations, moving into leadership roles focused on people, processes, and service. In our own ways, we were both problem-solvers and people-focused long before real estate became part of our story.

In 2020, we stepped into the real estate world when Justine took on an operations-focused role, supporting transactions and building systems behind the scenes during a time of uncertainty. It was a season of growth, learning, and trusting the process—even when the road ahead wasn’t completely clear.

Over the next few years, that experience shaped not only our understanding of the industry but also the kind of impact we wanted to make together. In 2024, William made the decision to step into real estate as well, bringing his background in tech, strategy, and problem-solving alongside Justine’s experience. What had been a long-time dream of working together finally became a reality.

At our core, our work is less about real estate and more about people. We’ve seen how much a home can influence someone’s life—where relationships are built, families grow, peace is found, and memories are made. It’s never just about the house itself, but everything that surrounds it.

Our faith has guided us through each step of this journey. There have been moments that required trust, patience, and stepping forward without having all the answers—and those moments are what led us here. They’ve shaped how we show up for others: with empathy, honesty, and a genuine desire to serve.

That same mindset carries into how we support our community. Justine serves as President of the Hutto Resource Center, and William is the Ambassador Chair for the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce. Together, we stay actively involved as Chamber Ambassadors, supporting local businesses and building relationships that strengthen the community we love.

Outside of work, our lives are rooted in faith, community, and connection. You’ll often find us at church, gathered around a dinner table with friends, or fully immersed in a fun game night. We love to get away whenever we can—especially if it involves the beach or any body of water. Those moments keep us grounded and remind us what matters most. We believe people need people, and whether in business or in life, being present, building relationships, and sharing experiences is what it’s all about.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road—but it’s been a meaningful one.

We made the decision to go all-in on our business at a time when the market was shifting quickly. Things were slowing down, uncertainty was high, and a lot of agents were stepping back or leaving the industry altogether. It would have been easy to take that as a sign to play it safe—but for us, it became a season that tested and ultimately strengthened us.

There were moments that required a lot of patience, discipline, and trust—not just in the process, but in ourselves and the direction we felt led to pursue. Building something together as a husband-and-wife team also came with its own learning curve. We had to figure out how to balance business and marriage, communicate well, and lean into each other’s strengths in a new way.

At the same time, those challenges shaped us. They refined how we approach our work, deepened our faith, and brought us closer—not just as business partners, but as a couple. We learned to stay grounded, to focus on what we can control, and to keep showing up for our clients and our community regardless of the market conditions.

Looking back, it wasn’t the easiest path—but it was the right one. And in many ways, the challenges are what made it as rewarding as it’s been.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We do a little bit of everything in real estate—residential buying and selling, leasing, commercial, land, and apartments—but at the end of the day, we specialize in people.

No two clients are the same, and that’s what we enjoy most. We take the time to understand how someone lives, what matters to them, and what they’re really trying to step into next. Real estate is just the vehicle—we’re there to help guide the bigger picture.

If you asked the people closest to us, they’d probably say we’re known for showing up, being involved, and always thinking a few steps ahead. We like having a plan, but we also know how to pivot when things don’t go as expected—and that balance is something our clients really benefit from.

What we’re most proud of is how we serve and advocate for others. We take that responsibility seriously, and we want people to feel supported, informed, and confident in their decisions—not rushed or overwhelmed.

As for what sets us apart, that’s always a tough one—but if we had to answer, it’s probably this: our clients don’t usually stay “clients” for long. More often than not, they become friends, and that’s something we value deeply.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson we’ve learned is to trust God to lead the way and provide.
