Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Strubbe.
Hi Alexander, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my company back in 2018, but the path to getting here was anything but linear. I grew up in Texas and went to the University of Texas at Austin, originally as a biochemistry major. After flunking organic chemistry, I realized I needed to find a path that truly fit me. I interned everywhere I could—KVUE, law firms, State Farm, a realty group, marketing agencies—you name it, I tried it. I was searching for my purpose and trying to figure out where I belonged.
My final internship in my last semester was at Personal Wine, and that turned out to be transformative. I started as an intern trying to find my path and ended up becoming Marketing Director after a viral campaign I led. That experience showed me the impact of creative marketing and strategic thinking, and it gave me the confidence to build my own business. I owe so much to my mentors there, Alex Andrawes and Victoria Love, who guided me and inspired me to trust my instincts.
Around that same time, I was also undergoing personal transformation—traveling and backpacking through the Middle East, meditating in the Negev Desert, navigating depression, and eventually coming out. I lost 80 pounds and became a spin instructor, which helped me connect with others and find a sense of purpose.
Starting my company was the culmination of all those experiences—learning resilience, creativity, and the power of hard work. Every step of my journey taught me that growth comes from embracing challenges and investing in yourself, and now my focus is on making an impact while continuing to evolve personally and professionally.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve come to welcome the challenges because they’ve shaped who I am today. Early on, I trusted the wrong people, and I was too lenient—I let others dictate too much of the path instead of trusting myself. I also struggled with imposter syndrome, questioning if I truly belonged or if I was capable of leading.
Over time, I finally found my voice and learned that vulnerability is actually a strength. Being open about challenges, asking for help when needed, and staying true to my values has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. Those struggles taught me resilience, self-confidence, and the importance of trusting my instincts—lessons that continue to guide me as I build my company and navigate life.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as seeing something through from start to finish and making a real impact along the way. It’s about helping the underdog—lifting up people or businesses who need guidance, giving them the tools to thrive, and celebrating the wins that others might have thought impossible. For me, success is tangible, meaningful, and shared.
