Hi Ashlie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Happily Ever Inked started very suddenly and organically. My then fiancé and I were planning our own wedding and having a very difficult time finding a tattoo artist that specialized in weddings!
Anybody that knows me knows that I enjoy being a little extra when it comes to aesthetics and occasions! So, hiring a personal tattoo artist to simply come with equipment, convention style, was not the vision I had for my wedding or the vision of many other brides, looking to plan their wedding!
With a long time background in tattooing, I immediately wanted to be able to provide wedding couples with the same level of quality that I would have for my own wedding tattoos.
So we created Happily Ever Inked, an aesthetically show stopping, modern, sanitary and fully insured live tattoo service!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, my life including this venture has been the universe, my sun, moon, and stars aligning.
While my journey has not been easy-my determination, and rentlentless urge to have what is meant for me has always been at the core. Hustle runs hard through my veins and there’s no problem that doesn’t have a solution.
I’m also such a strong believer that everything that is meant to be will be. With that being said, I don’t believe that there’s absolutely any one of us can do to disrupt our destiny.
Personally, I live my life with love and intention. The moves that I make and the steps that I take are those I feel are clearly for me.
I’ve been very fortunate that those steps have so perfectly steered me into what the universe has for me and for my family.

We work with each wedding couple to curate, a unique and custom addition to their wedding vision.
The decor is tailored to the wedding couples decor and their flash sheet is the compilation of limitless communication between our team and the couples to be sure the set up and the artwork is exactly what they want on their wedding day!
We also offer several additions such as our signature “love and tattoos” sign that stands over 4 feet, and is the perfect eye catching charm for a wedding appearance! So many amazing pictures have been taken with it!
We also offer an unbelievably epic mobile retro camper studio, convenient and aesthetic aftercare kits- perfect for those traveling guests, and many more enhancing add ons. So wither we are the entertainment for the evening or a side addition, we come ready to ensure a smooth and unforgettable experience!
We consistently work hard to uphold a strong standing reputation. From the initial contact with our clientele, the planning process and communication, and follow up after our reservation. We take pride in providing lifelong keepsakes to our couples, their closest friends and family!
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The best piece of advice that I could offer is simply a saying that I use often daily and my own life. “How you do anything, is how you do everything”.
Keeping those words resonating through my thoughts has saved me from selling myself short or not following through on any given task.
For myself, I want to do the best I can, until I know better. When I know better, I do better. That’s my new best, and it’s a cycle.
When we know better, we have to do better. So, just keeping growing.
Just keep showing up.
