Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Weathers.
Hi Brooke, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
As someone with a history of severe cystic acne, my skincare journey began out of necessity. Attempts at treating my acne topically proved to be ineffective, but once I started treating my skin as a part of a wellness journey, considering all systems of the body and mind, this is where magic began for me. That experience lit a fire in me to learn everything I could about skin health and holistic healing. Even to this very day, I still struggle with imbalances, but I can truly say I feel confident and beautiful in my skin. This ignited a passion in helping others find this same feeling of confidence and comfort by introducing them to an effective, holistic approach, rooted in both western and eastern medicines.
I started with formal training in esthetics, but I quickly realized that I wanted to go deeper than surface-level treatments. I began exploring holistic wellness, gut health, herbalism, and how internal imbalances show up on the skin – especially in cases of acne, which I now specialize in. I wanted to build something that honored both the science and healing of the body, which led me to create Ainsley’s Apothecary.
Where I am today is the result of a lot of learning, unlearning, and listening – to my clients above everything else. I now get to spend my days blending everything I love together: skincare, herbalism, and connection.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not- but I wouldn’t change a thing. In the beginning, I underestimated how much of this journey would be emotional, not just technical. Learning how to treat skin was one thing, but learning how to hold space for people, manage a business, set boundaries, and stay grounded in my values – that was the real growth.
There were times that I doubted myself, especially when I wasn’t seeing immediate results within my business. I have struggled through burnout, imposter syndrome, and moments of questioning whether I was even on the right path. However, it is safe to say that every single struggle has taught me something. It deepened my empathy, made me a better practitioner, and helped me refine Ainsley’s Apothecary into what it is today: a space that’s rooted, real, and deeply intentional.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Ainsley’s Apothecary is more than a skincare studio – it’s a space for healing, ritual, and connection.
As an esthetician and herbalist, my approach blends clinical skincare with holistic wellness, specializing in acne treatments that go beyond your standard remedies. Every treatment I offer is deeply personalized, because no two people — or their skin stories — are the same. I approach with curiosity, not judgement, to see beyond breakouts and get to the root of why it’s happening. I look at the whole person – your skin, your gut health, stress levels, your routines, and your relationship with yourself. My work is deeply customized, rooted in both clinical knowledge and intuitive care. I aim to create a space where you are not just a client – you are a collaborator in your own healing process.
What I am most proud of is that Ainsley’s Apothecary is a space built with heart. Every product I carry, every treatment I offer, and every conversation I have is rooted in care, integrity, and intention. This isn’t about chasing perfect skin – it’s about creating balance, rebuilding trust with your body, and embracing rituals that support your nervous system as much as your skin.
