Meet Christopher Casazza of Brenham, Tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Casazza.

Hi Christopher, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began tattooing February 2013 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Moved to College Station, Texas in 2015 and began grinding. I needed to figure out where I belonged and where I wanted to be in the industry. In 2018 I began focusing strictly on Newschool, doing conventions, and meeting very rad artists. Doing this helped me grow and learn new techniques in art as-well as tattooing. Today I’m currently navigating fatherhood with my wife Jordan and our 2 month old son Anthony. As if that weren’t enough I’m also opening my first shop, The Texas Tattoo Club with my good friend and incredibly talented artist Caleb Gandy. Opening in March of this year!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s had ups and downs. My entrance to the tattoo industry was shaky and uncertain but outside of the beginning the journey has been full of growth!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Professional Tattoo Artist, specializing in Newschool style tattoos! I generally stick with bold Linework and bright popping color! I’m most proud of being recognized by tattooers, that I admire and respect, as a tattooer. Sometimes you can get imposter syndrome when you meet some of the incredible artists in this industry. I’m not sure what all sets me apart from others, though I focus a lot on original concepts and hope that the little habitual nuances I put in are enough to set me in my own seat at the Newschool table!

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
