Meet Danielle Wills of Cedar Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Wills.

Danielle Wills

Hi Danielle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, you could tell our readers some of your backstory.
Tumble Tech originally started in Westlake to prepare a few family members and friends for a power tumbling event in Las Vegas. As they practiced, others watched them tumble and flip and became fascinated. Interest grew from there, and before you knew it, we offered tumbling and power tumbling classes to local children in the Westlake area. We hired knowledgeable, fun, and personable staff, and classes began to grow and grow and grow. From there, a vision was formed to create a facility where we could train athletes in a positive, enriching, and safe environment where they could grow to be the best athletes they could be and as individuals outside the gym. We are proud members of the Cedar Park, Westlake, and surrounding communities and love working with local schools, events, and charities to help share our love for our communities and what we do at Tumble Tech & Tech Cheer. We hold to our core values: Empowerment, Servant Leadership, Above & Beyond, Transparency, Passionate Accountability, Collaboration, Excellent Service, and Safety & Fun.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business, especially from scratch, takes a lot of work. From finding the right location and the perfect staff to creating a culture of respect and hard work mixed with fun, it is never easy, but our families, staff, and athletes make it all worth it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Danielle strongly believes an athlete’s success relies on a team effort between parents, coaches, and athletes. Tumble Tech program coordinators and coaches need to work closely with parents. “Parents trust us with their most valuable possession – their children – and it’s our job to create a positive environment staffed by dedicated professionals to ensure their children receive the training and support they expect.” Danielle is a local business owner and an active member of her community. She has worked with the Travis County Medical Alliance, Eanes Education Foundation, Foundation for the Homeless, Wonders and Worries, JDRF, and various animal rescue groups, such as Austin Pets Alive, and volunteered extensively at her children’s schools.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Start slowly and with small pieces, but surely with hard work and determination, you can make it happen. Use your passion and creativity to form something you are passionate about and can be proud of. Great things take time.
