Hi Estefana, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a love for photography. Ever since I was little, I always had a creative nature. When it came time to figure out what I was going to do with my life, I knew photography was the way to go, and I haven’t looked back!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t at first. I didn’t exactly get the best support form the start, but instead of letting it get to me. I took it as inspiration to motivate me to get better and better.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I started out photographing newborns and families, then found my calling when the pandemic first started. I now specialize in surprise proposals and elopements. Elopements are one of my favorite things to photograph. It’s very chill and easy going for everyone involved.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Push your way in. It’s tough being a creative, but one thing you have to remember is. No one is going to hand you a golden ticket at the beginning. You have to push yourself into some places and make yourself known. It takes time, so don’t give up! You’ll get there.
