Hi Eva, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Victoria and I are a mother-daughter team, originally from Waco, TX, that calls Austin, TX home. Although Victoria is only four years old, my desire was to build a business that I can one day pass down to my princess as I received this gift from my grandmother, Geneva. The story of our delectable cheesecake recipe was passed down from Geneva, affectionately known as Mother, many years ago. I have included Victoria in making creative additions to Mother’s cheesecake but there’s still the same amount of love in every bite. Although Mother no longer makes cheesecakes, she still enjoys eating her original flavor, Cherry Delight. My passion has always been to spread love and happiness in addition to create generational wealth for my family. Word of mouth has continued to spread very quickly and 2CheeseCakeCuties is now an up and coming brand that serves cheesecakes to individuals, families and a BBQ restaurant in Liberty Hill.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I initially struggled to find my purpose in this life for many of years. It was not until I started drawing out a blueprint for 2CheeseCakeCuties while I sat at my 9-5 full-time job; I knew this was the plan God had set out for me. Any time you have a dream that you are passionate about the road is never smooth. I have endured a lot of tears, loss of sleep, stress, anxiety, and failure after failure; but the drive in me will not let me quit. We have not reached all of our goals, but we are a lot closer now than when we first started. The road to success has a lot of bumps, it takes a lot of dedication, hard work, and determination. I also have my husband to thank because without him the road would have been even more difficult. I am proud that my son and daughter get to witness the process first hand and they will always be able to hold this moment in their hearts.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
2CheeseCakeCuties specializes in bringing happiness to you, even if just for a moment. We also specialize into turning cheesecake haters into cheesecake lovers! We offer a number of different flavors, in addition we receive a lot of customized orders. When 2CheeseCakeCuties was being developed, I was in a really dark place in my life. Once we launched and I started receiving a lot of positive feedback and the smiles on our customer’s faces, it helped to turn my life around. I am most proud of my growth. Not only within the business but within myself as well. What sets 2CheeseCakeCuties apart from others is that you can taste the love that is put into our cheesecakes. Not only can you taste the love some of our cheesecakes like the banana pudding takes you back in time and reminds you of being at grandmas house. We are very passionate about 2CheeseCakeCuties, our customers, and ensuring that we live up to our Mission Statement.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In the next 5-10 years, we would like to have at least two storefronts and two food trucks within the Austin/surrounding area. In addition, we would like to operate a food truck in Waco, as well.
