Today we’d like to introduce you to Fatima Aqil Ali
Hi Fatima, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve loved fashion and beauty for as long as I can remember, so when I graduated from University in 2017 I decided to start sharing where I get my clothes from, how I style them, and built a following and community that shared the same passion as I did. While I was a content creator I joined my family jewelry business, Diamonds Unlimited, and became a gemologist. I got married, & I started sharing my travels with my husband which everyone loved and took inspiration from. I also recently gave birth to my little girl, Zainab in 2024. The past few years as a content creator have been beyond rewarding, I’ve worked with global brands in almost every industry, I’ve created original content and long term relationships with brands and brand owners, I’ve built a supportive community of people who have been there to see me grow into the person I am today. Although I’ve taken a backseat as a full time content creator since I joined my family business and became a Mom, it’s still something I love to do.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all! The journey here was so hard, from shooting looks and filming every single day to putting yourself out there for the entire world to judge, it has not been easy. Although I loved curating looks and sharing with my audience and seeing everyone buy the pieces and recreating them, it was hard because there were days where I’d get one bad comment and my whole week would be ruined. The hardest part is definitely the criticism but I couldn’t have done it or come this far without my mom, husband, and family. From my mom taking all of my pictures and supporting me through the highs and lows, she always clapped the hardest with every collaboration I get til today. My husband being my rock, always motivating me to reach for the stars and never give up, and my family always supporting and encouraging me to keep going especially at times I’d want to give up.

My dad founded Diamonds Unlimited in 1995, the year I was born. For the last 30 years he’s put blood sweat and tears into making it a what it is today Although we’re a small, independent, family owned business, our customers are loyal and our merchandise is one of a kind. My dad hand picks each piece til today, and they’re all made of the highest quality diamonds and gold, and I do custom jewelry as well. We do repairs the same day with a bench jeweler in store, so you can watch your jewelry being repaired if you’d like, and it’s usually ready within the hour. We also do insurance appraisals for any jewelry, and have in store 0% interest financing as well as no credit check financing. What Im most proud of is our reputation and our customer service, & we treat every customer like they’re family. We’re located in Humble, TX inside Deerbrook Mall!

I was born in England, raised in TX, and speak 4 languages fluently.
