Meet Jake Garry of Drops of life CBD and Fresh Grown Tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jake Garry.

Hi Jake, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am the co-founder and CEO of Drops Of Life CBD and fresh grown Texas. I have been a long-time cannabis advocate and connoisseur. I was born in Lubbock, Texas and have lined all overstate my entire life. I have always used cannabis and cbd to help me with my severe ADD and ADHD. It helped me concentrate in college. It was also great for anxiety. I don’t really drink so cannabis has always been my go to. About eight years ago, I had a nephew that had about 20 seizures a day and he took medication for it. The medication barely worked and his parents could hardly afford the medical bills that came with his seizures. I asked him to try some cbd that my business partner was making at his registered medical marijuana facility in New Mexico. My cousin tried the cbd out of desperation and it worked! My nephew does not have seizures anymore after taking a daily regime of cbd since he was eight. It worked instantly within weeks of taking the medicine and continued to get better as he took more cbd. At that very moment, I knew I wanted to be in this industry so that I could help people like my nephew. That’s why my team and I have created a high-quality product at an extremely affordable price. We are a seed to sell hemp company right here in Texas. We grow, manufacture, and produce some of the states top shelf hemp products. We keep it all in house. With great staff full of family and friends. My wife Erika is our head confectioner and in charge of infusing all of our products. My head cultivator at Fresh Grown Tx Mike is a lifelong friend and Co-worker. Those are two of the most important positions in our company and it’s crucial I have people I can trust and rely on.

Our ownership has over 13 years of experience in the medical cannabis industry from Orlando Watts’s one of our owners. We try and bring that transparency and knowledge he has taught us to the Texas market. Our first year as a company, we were focused on growth and product development. We have recently won two very prestigious awards here in Texas While creating history at the same time. We were voted the number # 1 cbd edible in the state at the Texas harvest Festival. We also recently won 2 more awards for top indoor flower and also the People’s choice award at the taste of Texas hemp cup. These are the two largest platforms in Texas that promote Texas hemp brands. We have only been a company for a little over a year and we have barely started selling products in March of 2021. We are extremely humbled by these awards and motivated by them at the same time. We are now working on several national products that will be launching in 2022. The love and support has been amazing and overwhelming. We hope to continue to serve the patients of Texas for years to come.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth ride, especially here in Texas. The market is extremely competitive and flooded with big corporations that usually have a cheaper price for the shops in Texas who sell CBD and hemp. We found out early from a lack of sales that you have to have a niche. You have to have something that makes you stick out in the saturated market. We found that the quality and price of our THC free CBD products is what made us stand out. We also worked extremely hard on formulas that usually aren’t on the Cbd market. We also combined it with simplicity and feedback from our consumers. Our customers are our best critics and through listening to them, we have made products that people really enjoy. The best part is they are high-quality, affordable, and very assessable. The other struggles in Texas is that the state is always going in 100 different directions when it comes to our regulations and legislations. The sudden state ban of Delta eight was a prime example of this and now we are supposedly going through another smokeable hemp band here in Texas which means it could be illegal to grow and produce smokable hemp in the state of Texas. Because of things like this our industry has become full of uncertainties and obstacles that other states do not have to overcome. It is a complete gamble to be in the hemp and CBD industry in Texas right now.

We like to source local raw materials and use organic or healthy ingredients when we have the option. What makes us unique is that drops of life cbd is known for its award-winning edibles and Fresh Grown Tx is known for its award-winning smokeable hemp flower. We are one of the first company’s in the history of Texas to do everything in house. Most company’s either just grow flowers or make products. It’s extremely rare to find company’s here in Texas that do both. The investment and Knowledge it takes to make sure both sides stay evolving is challenging but very rewarding. Our 13 years of experience in growing, manufacturing, producing, and customer relations has really given us a competitive edge in today’s market.

Any big plans?
The skies the limit and we have no plans on slowing down. We have serval national brands and major label commitments that’ we are working on as we speak for the CBD market. These deals will completely elevate our company to the next level. Eventually, we would like to be a medical marijuana company in Texas. Everything we are doing is to prep us for that moment. Until then, we will focus on perfecting our products, training our employees, and building our brand.
