Today we’d like to introduce you to Javon Hill
Hi Javon , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Honestly, Jae Hill Beauty started out as a simple love for makeup and connecting with people. Back when I first started at Boss Beauty Makeup Academy–I learned the fundamentals of makeup from some very talented artist. After that it was consistent practice and a passion for helping people feel their best. I found that I really enjoyed creating soft, natural glam looks which clicked with so many people. Before I knew it, friends and clients started trusting me for their special occasions, from weddings to branding shoots.
As demand grew, I realized this could be more than just a one-person operation. So, I built a small team of like-minded artist who share that same dedication to making people feel taken care of and beautiful. Now, we offer hair and makeup services for bridal parties and other events, and it’s been amazing to see how the business has grown. At the end of the day, Jae Hill Beauty is about giving a relaxed, real experience while making them feel stunning for their big moments.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all! When I first started, a lot of my journey was practicing, one on one courses, listening to my Mentor Rafa Orlando, going through lots of tutorials. There were plenty of times when I would question myself, wondering if I would ever feel truly confidant in my skills. But with every mistake, I learned and got better.
Growing Jae Hill Beauty into a business was another huge leap. I went from doing makeup alone to running a team, which meant learning things like hiring , managing schedules, and dealing with finances–this part was a little easier from managing and consulting dental practices throughout the years. There were days where it was overwhelming because there are a lot of places you need to be and manage. Sometimes I would wonder if this is what God was calling me to do.
And then there is the day-to -day struggle of balancing everything. From handling bookings and cash flow to marketing and trying to make time for myself-it’s a lot! But honestly, every challenge has taught me something. At the end of the day, it’s all been worth it because I get to do what I love and see people feel amazing and confidant.

At Jae Hill Beauty, I specialize in a natural soft glam makeup that enhances a person’s unique beauty without feeling overdone. I’m known for creating looks that feel effortless and authentic, whether it’s for a wedding, branding shoot, or any special occasion. My goal is to make each client feel like the best version of themselves=comfortable, beautiful, and confidant.
What I am most proud of is the personal connection I build with each client. I love creating a fun, relaxed environment where people feel at ease, and I make sure they know they’re taken care of every step of the way.
What sets Jae Hill Beauty apart is the down-to -earth, relatable approach. It’s more than just makeup; it’s about making sure everyone who sits in my chair feels heard, valued, and truly seen. Jae hill beauty goes above and beyond to helps clients whether it be a photographer, wedding planner, cakes, dress designers; we literally got you!

Yes! Rafa Orlando! She has been my biggest Mentor in this industry. She has helped me reach my goals with tools that allow me to know how to navigate this business. Katie Prater has been my assistant and has helped wit IG, FB, Emails, scheduling. She’s truly a God Send
