Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayme Shiarla.
Hi Jayme, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey didn’t begin with a grand plan — it began with burnout, loneliness, and a deep ache for something more. On the outside, my life looked like a success story: promotions, accolades, new milestones. But the truth? The “next level” highs were always short-lived. I kept hitting goals, but nothing stuck — the joy never lasted, and the sense of connection I craved always felt just out of reach.
Eventually, I realized I wasn’t chasing success — I was chasing fulfillment, wholeness, and a sense of peace within myself. That realization cracked something wide open in me. I began doing the work — not just to look successful, but to feel aligned, energized, and connected to my purpose.
Today, I’m an Executive Wellness Coach and NLP Practitioner. I work with high-achievers who’ve built strong careers but are silently questioning why it still doesn’t feel like “enough.” My coaching helps them get to the root of their burnout, blocks, and breakdowns — and rebuild a life that actually feels good. We simplify, we reset, and we redefine what success really means — from the inside out.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not even close. My road has had more detours, potholes, and breakdowns than I can count. I’ve faced seasons of depression, self-hate, and feeling like a complete fraud — especially in moments when I was achieving on paper but falling apart privately. I spent years pretending I was fine because that’s what strong women do, right? We push through, smile, and keep going.
But the truth is, some of my biggest breakthroughs were born out of those breakdowns. I had to confront some hard truths — about the version of myself I had built for survival, the weight of perfectionism, and the lie that I had to earn my worth.
I also experienced betrayal, spiritual doubt, financial strain, and grief — all while trying to “show up” for everyone else. But it was in those valleys that I learned how to walk with God, lean into healing, and find a strength rooted in truth, not performance.
Those hard seasons are the very reason I’m able to do this work today — not just as a coach, but as someone who gets it. I’ve walked through the darkness. Now, I help others find the light.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an Executive Wellness Coach, NLP Practitioner, speaker, author, and podcast host — and I help high-performing men and women cut through the noise of their lives to rediscover who they are, what they want, and how to actually feel fulfilled getting there.
My clients often come to me in one of two places: either they’re chasing the next level, but something feels off or unfulfilling… or they feel stuck, lost in their identity, and questioning why life doesn’t feel the way they thought it would by now. I specialize in customized one-on-one coaching that walks with people through these moments. Together, we simplify the mental chaos, challenge limiting beliefs, create intentional strategies, and build a life that reflects truth, peace, and purpose — not just productivity.
I’m proud of my book, Beyond the Words – 123 Quotes to Inspire Growth and Action, because it represents how I live and coach: by challenging surface-level thinking and inspiring real movement. I’m also proud of my podcast, Make Time For Your Mind With Coach Jayme, where I share practical tools and conversations that help people shift their mindset and move forward.
What sets me apart is that I don’t coach from a pedestal — I coach from the place of someone who’s lived it. I’ve experienced burnout, self-doubt, identity loss, extreme loneliness, and the ache of checking all the boxes yet still feeling empty. My work is deeply rooted in my faith, lived experience, and an unwavering commitment to walk with people through the messy middle and into meaningful growth.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that there’s very little in life you can actually control — except your thoughts and your actions. You get to decide how you perceive the life in and around you. That realization gave me my power back.
But I’ve also learned you’re not meant to do it all alone. You can achieve everything and still feel empty if you don’t have deep, meaningful connections to experience life with. That kind of isolation makes happiness feel just out of reach — no matter how successful you appear on the outside.
And finally, I’ve learned that you can’t wait around for life to feel “good.” It’s not a finish line you’ll someday cross. You have to recognize that it’s good now, even as you grow. You don’t have to choose between contentment and ambition — you get to have both.
