Jazmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Wax N Glow Beauty Bar pretty much developed in a matter of days. I never thought this would become my reality until one day it did! From day one of being opened to now six months being opened is just so crazy to say, and although it’s only been half a year, my small business has thankfully progressed so much and even then I know that there is much more to come. The amount of support I have received is truly what leads me to keep going and growing. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for my family and my clients!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Opening a new business in a community that already has grown so much over the years definitely can be intimidating and although that could of been a reason for me to not open my doors, I decided that I wanted to listen to what my heart and God were telling me and that was to keep going! Because of the mindset I already had, it leads me to believe that I am no competition with anyone else but myself and I truly think there is absolutely room for everyone to succeed and grow especially since everyone brings their own niche.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I own a full body waxing studio, and I specialize in both Brazilian and Vajacial services. My clients love how I provide a comfortable atmosphere while also being very thorough with my work. I am proud that I can make my clients feel confident in their skin and give them results that make them want to come back each month. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been waxing for awhile or maybe this is your very first appointment with me, I know that you will leave with a smile!
How do you think about luck?
I have the BEST clients. They truly believe in my work and skill so much that they will refer their friends/family and even co-workers to me. Word of mouth goes a long way for a small business and I feel so lucky that my clients and even those who aren’t my clients will take time out of their day to share about my business!
