Meet Jennifer Friedel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Friedel.

Hi Jennifer, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a planner! I have always loved planning parties, family reunions and the like. When I planned my own wedding, I fell in love with wedding planning! I have since worked hard to learn, and continue learning all of the ins and outs of everything wedding!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No way! When I first started my business, I was a single mom and one-income household. Taking that leap of faith in myself and my business was terrifying. As I began growing my business and cementing myself in the wedding industry, Covid hit. The pandemic essentially wiped the slate of weddings for a good chunk of time. Luckily, weddings are back in full swing and the industry has exploded!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love to travel and have gathered creative ideas from each place I have visited. It makes me so happy to bring my ideas to life for couples. I want to offer each couple ideas from design, to logistics, to flowers and colors to fun new things they can implement in their once in a lifetime wedding day.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My best advice for finding a mentor is to find someone that you are compatible with. I’ve learned so much more from mentors when we are on the same vibe!
