Today we’d like to introduce you to Jocelyne Vo.

Jocelyne Vo

Hi Jocelyne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Paris, France, where my passion for health, wellness, and helping others first took root. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, travel the world, and use my hands to heal naturally. This led me to pursue chiropractic care—a profession that aligned perfectly with my values and aspirations.

After completing six rigorous years of chiropractic school in France, I graduated in 2016 and began practicing in my hometown. Those early years were formative, allowing me to hone my skills, connect with patients, and deepen my understanding of holistic health.

Moving to the U.S. was both exciting and challenging. I had to pass all parts of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and fulfill additional licensing requirements, which included earning a Bachelor of Anatomy from Parker University. These steps were essential to establishing myself as a licensed chiropractor in my new home.

In September 2022, I achieved a significant milestone by opening my own practice in North Austin, Texas. My vision was to create a multi-disciplinary wellness studio that goes beyond traditional chiropractic care. Today, my practice is a collaborative space where I work alongside other holistic practitioners to provide comprehensive, natural care for our patients.

Looking back, my journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to helping others, a willingness to embrace change, and a passion for continuous growth. From Paris to Austin, I’ve been fortunate to turn my dreams into reality, and I’m excited to see where this path takes me next.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest hurdles was going back to school after already completing my chiropractic education in France. Earning a Bachelor of Anatomy from Parker University to fulfill U.S. licensing requirements was demanding, but it reinforced my determination to establish myself as a chiropractor here and bring my unique perspective and approach to patients in the U.S.

Adapting to a new country also came with its own set of challenges. Moving to the U.S. meant adjusting to a different culture, lifestyle, and business environment. Learning the nuances of how things work here—both personally and professionally—was a steep learning curve. There were moments of doubt and frustration, but I’ve embraced the process, learning from my mistakes and growing stronger every day. I’m grateful for the evolution it has brought to my life and career.

Another significant challenge has been managing a multi-disciplinary wellness studio while simultaneously growing my own chiropractic practice. Balancing the responsibilities of running a business, collaborating with other practitioners, and ensuring my patients receive the best care has been no small feat. There were times when it felt overwhelming, but the journey has taught me resilience, time management, and the importance of staying true to my vision.

Despite the struggles, I’m incredibly grateful for where I am today. Every obstacle has shaped me into a better practitioner, business owner, and person. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it’s been worth it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Along the way, I’ve met so many people who helped boost my self-confidence and encouraged me to take the leap into entrepreneurship here in the U.S. Without their encouragement, I don’t think I would have had the courage to open my practice.

I’m also lucky to work alongside inspiring practitioners, business owners, and boss ladies who push me to be better every day. Their hard work, creativity, and collaborative spirit have been a constant source of inspiration, helping me find new ways to grow and support my community. Their energy and ideas have been invaluable in shaping my approach to running a multi-disciplinary wellness studio.

Lastly, and most importantly, my husband has been my rock throughout this journey. He’s been my steady hand during moments of doubt, my cheerleader when I needed motivation, and my support system when things felt overwhelming. This wellness studio is truly our baby—a labor of love that we built together, pouring in countless hours, weekends, and so much heart to make it a welcoming and cozy space. I couldn’t have done any of this without him.
