Hi John, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Chriss Brokerage is a lifestyle real estate company established in Texas. CB was founded to provide a custom personal buying and selling experience for its clients and advisors. What differentiates a real estate advisor from your ordinary realtor? An advisor is not only a sales person but also a purveyor of information, a professional who is a fiduciary responsible to his/her client. John Chriss epitomizes this description.

After spending his youth in the film industry which took him all around the world, living in places such as Seville, Sydney, and Los Angeles, John realized one thing, Texas will always be his home.

Working in real estate for over a decade, when asked what drew him to the profession, John says he has his mother and father to thank. “Growing up, Sundays were spent watching old movies with my father and visiting open houses with my mother around town. Film and real estate have been a part of my life, engrained in my DNA since birth.”

John has clients all over the world ranging from A-list superstars to ranchers in West Texas and can handle any of your real estate needs, worldwide.

After spending three fruitful years as Sales Manager of the Domain branch of an internationally renowned real estate company, John was made partner at one of Austin’s premier boutique brokerages and then realized his dream of founding Chriss Brokerage.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It certainly has not been.

EVERYONE in the business told me not to launch my own bespoke boutique brokerage but it’s been a dream of mine since day 1 in the business.

On top of that we started in the first downturn in Austin real estate in the past 10 years so its been a challenge but it is my calling to advise and council new agents and actually SELL real estate. you know like were supposed to do. Its. simple business and you mush cultivate lasting and strong relationships. Thats what we stand for. One property/ one at a time
