Hi Judy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been a nurse for over 20 years, working in various specialties including labor and delivery, perioperative services, infusion nursing and aesthetics. Each chapter of my nursing career has shaped me, but I’ve truly found my passion in where I am today—helping others look and feel their best through aesthetic and wellness care.
My passion for caring for people started early. I grew up going to work with my mom, who was a CNA at a nursing home. Watching her care for patients with compassion and dignity had a profound impact on me. She always told me to “be more” and encouraged me to become a nurse. That early experience stuck with me, and over the years, I’ve built a career centered around connection, compassion, and quality care.
For a long time, I was interested in aesthetics but put it on hold while working multiple jobs to support my son through college. Once he graduated, I felt it was finally time to invest in my own dream. I had always been drawn to the confidence-boosting aspect of aesthetic care—and inspired by my mom, who taught me the value of skincare and self-care from an early age—it felt like a natural evolution in my nursing journey.
That’s what led me to start Renewed Essence Aesthetics and Wellness—a mobile concierge practice that brings high-quality treatments directly to patients, offering comfort, privacy, and exceptional care. I wanted to create a service that’s personal and convenient, where clients can feel relaxed and cared for in their own space.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been far from easy—starting a new business in today’s economy, especially in an already crowded field like aesthetics, comes with a lot of pressure. But I’ve always been driven to push forward. I’m constantly investing in my education and my business to make sure I deliver safe, effective, and personalized care. Renewed Essence is still growing, and I’m excited for everything that’s still to come.
We’ve been impressed with Renewed Essence Aesthetics and Wellness, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

What sets us apart is the personal touch and clinical experience behind every service. With over 20 years in nursing, I focus on safety, education, and truly individualized care. My goal is to help clients feel confident, cared for, and renewed—both inside and out.

Absolutely—so many people have played a part in supporting me and the growth of Renewed Essence. My husband has been incredibly encouraging, always pushing me to pursue my dreams and reminding me that I’m capable of more than I think. My parents have been a constant source of support and love, always uplifting me through every step of this journey.
I’m also grateful for my mentor and friend in the aesthetics field who has generously shared her knowledge and always makes herself available when I need insight or a boost of reassurance. And of course, my son who continues to inspire and motivate me every day.
I truly wouldn’t be where I am without this circle of love, guidance, and belief in me.
