Today we’d like to introduce you to We Do Weddings Team.
We Do Weddings was born out of the idea and hope for helping couples and venues find each other. Karen and Ken, the owners of We Do Weddings, also happen to be venue owners as well — so they knew the struggle of filling their calendar while being able to help all couples looking as well.
When couples would come trying to find availability for only a few weeks or months out, Karen and Ken knew there was a need for a service that would help couples find their wedding venue on a date specific basis.
Then when Covid hit, it became clear that not only couples needed help with finding venues but venues needed help too. Covid really put a spin on bookings and being able to help clients as they had to move their dates and go to plan B, so it was the perfect time for We Do Weddings to begin so everyone could connect and match for mutual benefit!
Let the happily ever afters begin!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
We Do Weddings has been in the making for almost four years now. While it has been a fairly smooth road, there has been challenges, for sure.
The first focus of the website and company was going to be aiding and assisting “last minute couples” but then when the pandemic hit, we really had to refocus and shift on helping everyone — which we consider a silver lining. If we can connect with other venues and help them to fill their calendar, plus help couples find venues who are available on their ideal date, talk about a win! We love helping people!

We love all things weddings.
We count ourselves to be a part of so many love stories!
From working at the venue (Ma Maison) to helping other venue friends register on the website, it is so wonderful being in the wedding world. The wedding world is a constantly changing, creative space and we love being a helping hand to all couples who have questions. They don’t just have to be venue-related. We love every aspect of the planning process. From talking about venues to florals to proposal ideas to anniversary celebrations — it is all so fun and so full of heart. We can’t imagine doing anything else!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Everyone on the team grew up with the same focus: family.
We are all so family-oriented and are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family (blood and loved).
Karen and Ken have three daughters, Kaitlyn (WDW employee) included. Conor grew up in a loving home as well.
I think this is where all our heart comes from. Not only are we total romantics, but we have always known so much love.
It is no surprise that Audrey Hepburn films or shows like Bridgerton speak to Conor and Kaitlyn. We are total romantics at heart.
