Meet Lacey Pair of Pure Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacey Pair.

Hi Lacey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my career as an Interior Design Assistant for major hotels nationwide while based in Colorado Springs. I learned firsthand how to tie high-level design aspects together to complete the look and feel my clients were after for major hotel renovations and ground-up construction. From there, I continued working in the commercial space as a Project Manager for large restaurant chains, seamlessly aiding in the design and install of large commercial kitchens. In 2010, I made the move to Austin, Texas, and to further her knowledge and expertise, she obtained a degree in Hospitality Management/Meeting and Event Planning, where she would find her niche working in, and coordinating, the many events here in Austin from SXSW to ACL Music Fest.

I have always wanted to get into real estate, so in 2020 I made the leap. It’s hard enough to start out as a new agent, well I started out a new agent in a global pandemic. But I did not let that discourage me. I get up, dress up and show up every day. And a year later, I’m doing it. I’m building the real estate career I have always wanted.

I have always been highly motivated, and my daughter plays a huge part in that. She has inspired me to be the best I can be in everything I do. Without her, I would not be where I am at or who I am today.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The pandemic for sure has been a huge obstacle for me in my new career venture. But the whole world felt that, so I know I am not alone.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love how I can ride my bike anywhere here in Austin, the underground trails are amazing.

Least – Austin is changing so rapidly that I miss some of the nostalgic places that are no longer around like I Luv Video and Threadgills. But you can not stop progress.
