Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Five years ago, I started Texas Loan Notary with one mission; to serve families with integrity, excellence, and faith during one of the most important transactions of their lives: closing on their home.
I’m also a Texas Mortgage Broker with C2 Financial and the founder of Thomas Capital Lending, an educational platform designed to empower homebuyers through understanding
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, growth comes with growing pains. One of my biggest challenges was building relationships and trust with title companies and realtors.
When you’re a new business, especially as a woman stepping into a traditionally tight-knit and competitive space. You have to prove yourself over and over again. It wasn’t easy getting people to see me as more than “just another notary.” I had to demonstrate, through consistency and results, that I was professional, dependable, and meticulous, someone they could trust to represent their clients and brand with excellence.
There were times when doors didn’t open, when I had to show up twice as prepared just to be taken seriously. But every “no” became motivation. Every closed door was an opportunity for prayer, growth, and preparation for the next one God would open.
Looking back now, I’m thankful for those challenges. They built my credibility, sharpened my professionalism, and strengthened my faith.
Every challenge, every rejection, every late night was shaping the foundation for where I am today. And this is just the beginning.
This isn’t just business, this is kingdom work.

After spending over 14 years in legal, real estate, and contract auditing, I saw firsthand how many buyers were signing loan documents they didn’t fully understand. That didn’t sit right with me. I wanted to be the bridge between confusion and clarity someone who not only notarized documents but also educated clients about what they were signing.
At Texas Loan Notary, we specialize in Refinance, Seller/Buyer, HELOC, Reverse Mortgage, and Loan Modification packages.
What began as a one-woman operation has grown far beyond what I imagined. Today, Texas Loan Notary provides remote notary services nationwide and mobile services throughout Bell County and Austin, Texas. Through God’s grace, the business has scaled significantly, allowing me to outsource notary work to other professionals within my community. I’m proud that this growth now allows me to create income opportunities for others while maintaining the same standard of excellence that built my brand.
I truly believe that when God blesses your vision, He expects you to be a blessing in return. This business is not just about notarizing documents, it’s about empowering others through service, education, and opportunity.
As a Texas Mortgage Broker with C2 Financial and the founder of Thomas Capital Lending, an educational platform I created to help homebuyers understand their loan options before making life-changing decisions.
I offer personalized consulting and education on FHA, Conventional, VA, USDA, DSCR, and down payment assistance programs. My focus is on financial literacy and empowerment by helping families make informed choices that lead to generational wealth.
For me, Texas Loan Notary is where the transaction happens and Thomas Capital Lending is where transformation begins. Together, they represent both sides of my calling: execution and education.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Believe it or not, I’m a total sci-fi geek! I can binge-watch movies like Interstellar and The Matrix all day. There’s just something about exploring what’s beyond the ordinary that speaks to me.
In real estate and finance, just like in sci-fi, I believe in vision beyond what’s visible. I’ve learned that faith and imagination are powerful partners because you have to be able to see what doesn’t exist yet and believe it’s possible before it becomes real.
That same mindset helps me stay innovative in my businesses, finding new ways to educate, serve, and empower my clients.
