Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Wenzell.
Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have always been fascinated by human behavior and getting to the core of why people do what they do. Maybe it is the Scorpio in me, maybe it was me trying to come to terms with experiencing life harshly at such a young age. I was born with a mild physical disability that affected my lower extremities which caused me to have a differing gait than my other peers. I was constantly bullied growing up and at home experienced my own family’s stressors. It felt like I could never find any sanctuary no matter where I was between the two. After I graduated from college, I moved back in with my family, I was desperate to make a change for myself. I wanted to find some sort of freedom from the constant pain I felt inside of me and from my past traumas. After I put that prayer out to the universe, I received an invitation to some sort of transformational workshop event. It was there that I got my first peak at what it was like to shift my perspective, see past painful events with purpose, and slowly but surely began to step out of my embedded victimhood.
Since then and throughout the years, I have worked on myself, my mental health, my healing, and my sobriety. I know that it is a miracle that someone like me who has been through traumas most people couldn’t imagine is where I am today. I embrace my empathy as a superpower, practice unconditional love with safe boundaries that work for me, and have stepped into my gifts by now coaching other sensitive and heart-centered souls on how to heal, find their inner power to create life the way they want, connect within their own unique, amazing abilities, and break free from their past.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has been everything but smooth *insert laughing emoji.* AND I have been supported by forces outside of me and miracles meet me everyday, in which I practice gratitude (something that has hugely shifted my attitude). When I started launching my business in July 2020, I was shown in every way where I needed to go within myself and tested what I would be willing to do to be this person I saw for myself, for my business, and the change for the world. My mentality and inner beliefs have been stretched and transformed time and time again.
When you become an entrepreneur and a spiritual entrepreneur at that, it is one of (in my opinion) the ultimate human growth boot camp experiences. I’d say my biggest struggles have been faith, trust, and surrender. We can do all the things right, have the plan, the structure, and have amazing services to offer clients, yet it is when we believe in a higher power outside of ourselves that is supporting the magic we are putting out there to help bring in those intended results (or something greater). Sometimes expectations were not met, some were crushed, and each time I learned something. I am still learning that through each experience whether I deem it positive or negative provides value always.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Transfiguration Coaching LLC is my life coaching company that supports individuals in their healing and transformational journey while providing guidance to align to their divine, soul gifts. I have over ten years of previous experience in researching human behavior and working with neurodiverse individuals and families. I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology. What I do with my clients is incorporate research-based techniques (like mindset work, daily routine practices, etc.) that work while providing healing, spirituality, and what those specific individual needs. What I notice is that we all get to be met at a certain level, that we all have our own uniqueness, and our healing may look different than someone else.
That is what I bring to my clients, I meet them where they are, provide clear guidance to where they want to go, and hold a space of unconditional love, compassion, safety, and nonjudgement. In the coaching industry, it is very results-based driven, but that doesn’t provide the lasting effects of transformation. What works for one person may not provide the same results for others and it is my goal that I encourage others to trust their inner knowing, find unconditional self-love, have their toolbox to create magic and be the best versions of their beautiful selves. It is an all-encompassing process and I like to think that with my previous life experience, what I know about healing and trauma, and always asking my clients if the feedback or guidance that is being given lands and feels good with them.
I provide different types of services whether it is a 1:1 reading, a long-term coaching program, or a group coaching program for clients. I also have a free Facebook Group Community where I provide a ton of value as well as on social media as well. I want people who resonate with what I have to offer to be able to reach me whenever they are.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I have learned on my journey is my own self-love and belief about myself. Things don’t change unless we make that decision. I know this on such a personal level. Outside validation and circumstances do not change us at our core, it is the deep healing, the inner work, the safe connections and relationships that change our lives.
