Hi Maria Claudia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I’m 35 years old and I currently live in Austin, Texas.
I studied Advertising and worked in Marketing but my main passion is to share budget-friendly fashion tips and tricks on social media. I like to use affordable products to recreate looks. My motto is that you don’t have to spend a lot to look good.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?There are always bumps on the road for sure. I think moving and leaving my island was the hardest one and also trying to communicate my emotions in a second language.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I was a social media manager and last year, I decided to pursue my passion for fashion and beauty and I’m now a full-time content creator, especially for curvy mid-size gals.
I think I’m most proud of finally pursuing something that I really like and it’s so second nature for me. It took me almost ten years to feel ready and believe in myself.
I think what sets me apart is my transparency in my content, one day I can show you five looks with a pair of sneakers from Walmart, and the next day me crying over my mom’s Alzheimer’s battle. My content is not curated at all, it’s real, it’s ups and downs and I think people really can see thru that and appreciate the honesty.
