Meet Massimo Di Campli of Di Campli’s Italian Ristorante

Today we’d like to introduce you to Massimo Di Campli. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Massimo Di Campli

Massimo Di Campli traveled the world after getting his master’s degree at a prestigious Culinary School in the Abruzzo Region of Italy. Massimo built his experience knowing his dream was to open his restaurant one day, where guests would be delighted with traditional homemade recipes, a delicious bottle of wine, and outstanding service. During his travels, Massimo met Kristen. Kristen was born and raised in Waco. After graduating from Midway High School, she furthered her studies at Texas Tech University. They met at Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. Five months later, they were married. They both took a chance and a giant leap of faith in each other. They have three beautiful children: Hudson, Grace, and Matteo.

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This restaurant was opened in the middle of the Covid pandemic, and as we all know, it was rough for everyone. But after almost 4 years, we are still standing and going strong.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about Di Campli’s Italian Ristorante?
Di Campli’s uses fresh ingredients, along with quality preparations and presentation. Our gracious staff is here to serve you on any occasion: a meal with family, date night, business meetings, and even private dining.

What were you like growing up?
My passion has always been the restaurant industry since I was a little kid. I love being outdoors in my little free time. Playing golf is what allows me to relax.
