It is family owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Jeremy and Michele Harnish. We are committed to offering premium hand-crafted mineral lime-based architectural finishes and delivering highly personalized service.
Jeremy is an artisan, a licensed California painting contractor and also a talented artist with impeccable vision for interior design. Jeremy works in some of the most beautiful homes in Orange County, California. Jeremy’s work with some of the most exclusive interior designers in Southern California keeps his work relevant and cutting edge. He always knows what is “on trend”. Michele has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a career in marketing and business management and is focused on managing the JH brand and operational side of the business. She enjoys sharing Jeremy’s brilliant creativity and unique application style. Jeremy has used lime-based plasters for over 20 years and for the last several years has been making lime wash paint to use on select projects. We are thrilled to manufacture these natural, timeless, aesthetically-rich paints for you in the United States in a unique formulation using natural earth mineral pigments.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We launched our business right after the Pandemic hit our country. It was met with many challenges but also some beautiful opportunities as people were spending more time in their homes and wanting an upgrade.

Our business is all about textured wall paints. We specialize in mineral paints that are zero VOC, natural and nontoxic. We have sourced the highest quality lime that has been aged for three years and use earth mineral pigments to color our paints. Our paints are both unique as well as aesthetically beautiful. They were created to be brushed on to get the look of lime plaster and a velvety finish. Our lime paint can be layered for added dimension and burnished to create a sheen since it comes thicker and can be watered down into a lime wash. We are most proud of how our brand has captivated the design and architecture community in their quest to find beautiful wall finishes. JH has made the paints easy to apply to get the look and the website gives all of the information and inspiration to be successful whether you will paint a room DIY or hire a local painting contractor.
