I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Has the ride been smooth? Absolutely not. There have been plenty of bumps, hurdles, and lessons along the way. At one point, I was managing a property while running events, which meant putting my own company on the back burner. I even shifted my networking efforts to promote the venue instead of RJ Productions. Then, without warning, the venue closed—owing me a significant amount of money. Was it tough? Yes. But did it light a fire under me to get back on track? Absolutely.
As a single mom, balancing it all isn’t easy. I have practices to get to, games I refuse to miss, all while managing my clients’ needs and keeping my business thriving. It’s a constant juggling act, but I love what I do. The challenges have only made me stronger, more resilient, and even more determined to build something lasting—not just for myself, but for my son and the people I serve.

I don’t believe in over-promising or sugarcoating things. Instead, I focus on clear communication and delivering exactly what I say I will. Being authentic means I show up as my true self, passionate about what I do and committed to making every event a success. Clients appreciate that honesty and dedication, and it’s what keeps them coming back.
At the end of the day, people want to work with someone they trust. My ability to be real, transparent, and genuinely invested in my clients’ events has been a key driver of my success.
