Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Samantha Chacon and I am from a small town outside of San Antonio, Texas. I love Jesus and people! I have a labradoodle named Ravi Joe. He likes to come check out venues with me (when he is allowed). I am an entrepreneuer at heart. I spend a lot of time creating new ideas and dreaming of Epic moments. I enjoy being a friend and bringing my entrepreneurial spirit along–oddly enough this is how I began planning weddings.
Working in the marketing world full-time–I enjoy getting to the moments when clients become friends and share a piece of life together.
Please talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned. Looking back, has it been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Building Unveiled has not been the smoothest of roads. Building new relationships with venues and vendors was an adventure, as I previously worked in South Texas. I have found others similar to myself in the sense of being within the first 5 years of a business and looking to grow an audience and customer base.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in full-service planning. As a planner, I aim for 6+ months; this includes multiple meetings with clients and a genuine partner throughout the process. One portion of the particular setting of Unveiled Apart is communication. My clients have unlimited access to me and can shoot over any instant concerns or issues as they arise. At Unveiled, I truly aim to be your “Wedding Bestie.” Bringing together all the things you desire and the pieces you may have forgotten.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Building a team of professionals who are both consistent and brilliant at what they do. Creating a team with these characteristics makes the planning process seamless and, more importantly, for my clients to feel comfortable and build trust with me as their planner!
