Hi Samuel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Around 10 years ago, we were in retail and selling large quantities of Happy Socks. At that time, we were selling in our retail stores, and companies started to come to us and ask us if we could do a run for them with their logo and colors. We decided it would be better to source ourselves and produce our line of socks, and we named the company Sockrates. We hired designers, and after that, we started to work on many of these projects, so much so that we decided to exit retail and focus only on custom socks entirely. We now service clients worldwide and ship from our manufacturing facility just outside Milan, Italy, all over the world, with most of our clients in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Israel, and Belgium.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
We’ve learned a lot along the way about Pantone matching, sizing, and the quality of the overall socks. Also, as we have grown so fast, the most important ingredient has been adding team members for positions that come up due to the growth, like project managers, designers, web developers, happiness managers, and sales teams.

We specialize in custom socks produced in high-quality runs in Italy. Companies come to us for their events, tradeshows, and our designer’s mock-up designs. After they approve which one they want – we produce and ship it globally. Each sock also comes with a sock header or band for full branding.
