Today we’d like to introduce you to Steven Schiff.
Hi Steven, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a dynamic Sales and Marketing Executive and Entrepreneur with a proven track record in business consulting, community engagement, strategic planning, process optimization, and leadership development. My passion lies in partnering with organizations to help them achieve their goals, accelerate growth, and drive measurable, bottom-line results.
GLOBAL SALES & MARKETING LEADERSHIP
With over two decades of executive management experience in the consumer products industry, I bring deep expertise in global sales, marketing, product development, sourcing, logistics, and launching new business initiatives.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & EXECUTION
I have successfully led high-performing teams, cultivated long-term business relationships, and executed strategies that have fueled market expansion and revenue growth—leveraging both new and existing product assortments to capture market share.
ENTREPRENEURIAL & INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
As the founder of LFK Sales and Marketing Associates, I’ve guided clients through new product development, representation, and retail placements. My entrepreneurial approach is grounded in innovation, execution, and value creation.
SERVANT LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY IMPACT
My leadership extends beyond business. I have served as President of the Gun Barrel City Economic Development Corporation, Trustee for Mabank ISD, and currently serve as Chairman of the Board for East Texas Community Clinic—a nonprofit family healthcare provider serving multiple East Texas counties. In addition, I am currently the President of the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce, and I teach Entrepreneurship part-time at the local high school, mentoring the next generation of business leaders.
I am passionate about forming lasting partnerships with people and organizations,
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing academics, leadership roles, teaching, and community involvement has often tested my ability to manage time and energy. There were moments of self-doubt, times when resources felt limited, and situations where the path forward wasn’t always clear. But each challenge taught me something valuable—how to adapt quickly, lean on collaboration, and keep perspective even under pressure. Looking back, those struggles became the very experiences that strengthened my resilience and prepared me to lead with both confidence and empathy.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work centers on sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, but at its core, it’s about people and possibilities. I specialize in building connections—whether that’s helping students in my Entrepreneur classes see themselves as innovators, or supporting businesses and organizations in finding the right strategies to grow. I’m often recognized for bringing energy, structure, and vision to the projects I lead. What I’m most proud of is creating opportunities for others—seeing a student gain the confidence to pitch an idea, or helping a team bring a big initiative to life. What sets me apart is my ability to bridge strategy with empathy: I don’t just focus on the outcome, but on how we get there together
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Growing up in Philadelphia and having the opportunity to explore and experience without very many ties or restrictions from my parents. My parents knew that my brother and I would not get into trouble (well most of the time) and we would be out and about all day with knowing that we needed to home and at the table for dinner. Today, with a lot of craziness out there, this type of freedom would not exist, however, with the use of technology, I am sure that if they wanted to, most parents today could find out where their children are at any given time. Major difference when I was growing up – NO TECHNOLOGY!
