Today we’d like to introduce you to Walking Tall.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am Walking Tall. I am a Native teacher, healer, and founder of Unity Community. I am a Heyoka Shaman, and my ancestors chose me to be a bridge between the spiritual and physical realms. My fourth great grandfather, Chief Alfred Wade, survived the Trail of Tears and became the first Chief Governor of the Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma.
As a child, I was a victim of severe abuse by my step-father in Johnson City, Texas. I experienced religious trauma, bullying, and abuse by peers and religious leaders in my community.
I grew up in severe poverty, but my mother, Jenny Morgan, was a warrior of God and she raised me to be a spiritual warrior. At the age of five, I started isolating myself in nature as a way to cope with the abuse. I began speaking with God, Jesus, and my ancestors at a young age. I also learned how to communicate with nature and animals as a way to heal and protect myself.
I have committed my life to healing with nature. In 2010, I went on my first Vision Quest across the West. I spent weeks camping in the backcountry as this was my first initiation as a Shaman. Since, I have traveled around the world to ancient Native ceremonial sites and within various indigenous communities.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. I have self-healed my mind, body, and spirit using various ancient healing modalities: sound healing, Reiki healing, yoga, meditation, food for healing, nature immersion, somatic dance, and nature retreats.
I believe we have everything we need within us to heal from any tragedy, trauma, or disease. As a leader of Unity Community, my mission is to unite all faiths, religions, and spiritual beliefs. Together, we can create the communities we dream of living in.
I offer personal empowerment coaching, shamanic mentorship, reiki healing, spiritual counseling, and personalized nature retreats. I am available for speaking engagements.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Paths are made by walking. Franz Kafka
If I wasn’t meant to be of service to the world, my path would have been smooth.
I have overcome obstacles that would kill most people. Childhood sexual abuse, poverty, trafficking, religious abuse, homophobic hate crimes, black magic, 9/11 ( I was ground zero), dying on a motorcycle and self-healing from a traumatic brain injury, PTSD, depression, addiction, domestic violence, financial sabotage by my family, my mother’s unsolved murder.
God created us with everything we need to overcome any obstacle. Faith moves any mountain. Love heals. Nature heals. Food heals. Music heals.
We’ve been impressed with Walking Tall Shamanic Healing, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am known for overcoming the impossible and leading with a golden heart. Shamanic Healing is the world’s original holistic medicine. I empower my clients to achieve their dreams by balancing mind, body, spirit. I develop custom plans for each client, depending on their goals and circumstances. I am a master energy healer and I teach my clients how to master their life force energy, overcome obstacles, and reclaim their soul’s highest potential. I use a variety of methods: Counseling and mentorship, spiritual practice development, sacred relationship and couples mentoring, yoga, meditation, native ceremony, Shamanic Journeying and soul retrieval, etc.
I am currently training to become a certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher.
I also help clients achieve sobriety and sacred sexuality within their lives.
My brand is truth, love, and God. I lead from the heart and I will walk with you through the shadow to the light.
My ability to turn wounds into wisdom is my speciality. I believe victims, and I help them become warrior survivors. I work very closely with the angelic realm and I am a sacred vessel of light for God’s work on earth. I offer channeled Spirit Readings to help you connect with your soul’s highest frequency.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
When I was in the fourth grade, my mother took me to Aquarina Springs in San Marcos, Texas. We rode in the cable cars and she bought me my first cowboy hat. I fell in love with Ralph the Swimming Pig!
