Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Moore.
Hi Andrea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As a former collegiate volleyball player (University of Alabama), I saw the value of coaching. I often got “further faster” simply by surrounding myself with others that had a similar passion and desire to “win!”
As sports moved further and further into my rearview mirror, the value of community, coaching and built-in accountability never left!
Through the years, my passion for purpose grew and I began to notice a collective need for greater clarity was something many other women also wrestled to attain.
No matter the city, state, or continent, as I traveled to different groups of women I would often find myself speaking to women who all had a similar passion to accomplish great things, but “life” would often bring a “detour” away from their dreams.
This troubled me… but so did the reality that so many women were passionate about doing something great while quite unclear about what or how!?!
I often tell women that greater clarity will always yield greater results. So Her Legacy Network was launched three years ago to help women build community with other women who want to gain greater clarity and do great things. Our monthly meetings are designed to offer executive coaching and accountability as we consider simple strategic next steps.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Launching an organization that helps women fulfill their purpose has not been easy. Women are filled with passion but often wrestle with worthiness and an ability to honor their own healthy boundaries.
Women often have a hard time honoring what’s within them. They feel guilty pursuing their dreams, get overwhelmed juggling dreams -vs- life’s reality, and often find themselves saying “yes” to the needs of others way more often than their own.
It’s amazing how coaching strategies and consistent community encouragement can shift things drastically.
Her Legacy Network is not a bible study. It is a networking opportunity for women who want to live out their purpose.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am most proud of my family: married 19 years to my best friend, we have three teen boys: E.J. 18, Jo-Jo 16, & Tre’ 13.
My hubby and I are founding pastors of Summit Worship Center. I am the founder of Her Legacy Network, a women’s empowerment organization. I also specialize in what I call “pastoral coaching”: I have a pastoral heart and love drawing out the best within women. I LOVE coaching groups of women forward. I believe that God has placed purpose inside of each one of us and I love creating environments to “draw out” the unique dreams God has placed within us.
I feel like I was created to inspire, encourage and ignite women to live and love their unique lane! I am grateful to say that in the last few years, EVERY SINGLE woman that commits to their journey and the network has begun to live out their dreams… EVERY-SINGLE-ONE!!!! I LOVE boutique shopping! I love enjoying a yummy meal with friends and family. What I like least… hmmmm… great question~ I LOVE Austin!
I think I am not loving how tough it is to buy new property now, yikes!?! I want a close-by getaway lol… a place to pause, pray and practically create and rejuvenate!
