Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Nyberg.
Hi Brian, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been skateboarding for 24 years. It’s the only thing I identify with as a human being, sincerely. It’s shaped most of my worldview I’ve been able to go headfirst into conflicts not being deterred by trial and error and just dust myself off. It builds massive amounts of confidence and determination. I see the world in a very different way than others and it helps give me some fortitude for sure.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’m still taking my time to learn more about myself and others in this world I get to be a part of every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in video work but I can do it all. Mainly multi media. I’m known for my skateboarding and skateboard related media. I’ve technically been making videos since I was 14, so it’s been 20 years. I’m most proud of my full length hour long video that took 4 years from 2010-2014. What sets me apart is that I can attempt to run a brand, land some tricks, and handle the camera/do the editing.
