Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregory Hill
Hi Gregory, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
in 2011 I was in College in my hometown of Mobile, AL working at a car dealer. I was on my lunch break at firehouse subs when my career found me. I met my favorite morning show on the radio. A pretty iconic brand of people I basically grew up listening to. I introduced myself and was invited to have lunch and we exchanged numbers not knowing it would change my life forever. The next week I was on air as their newest intern. Two years went by and I landed a paid part time role with Cumulus Media. My first full time job doing afternoons in the same Gulf Coast Market Mobile/ Pensacola / Biloxi started in 2015 with iHeartRadio. I stayed in my hometown market til 2018 and moved to Austin, TX to join mornings on 96.7 KISSFM and now I am a solo night host.
I am also a Texas Licensed REALTOR as of 2023! I have a hustle mentality and thrive doing multiple avenues.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
NO WAY! its always bumpy. I worked for FREE for 2 years starting my career in media. It’s all about keeping the passion to keep going! I always want more and to grow! PASSION and the love of media has gotten me through some tough times.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have been a Radio and TV Personality now for 11 years. I love pop culture and im always in the know. I enjoy making people laugh and I am known to be the funny guy in the friend group. I am BEST know in my Gulf Coast Market for my time as the Human Elf during the holidays. Most of my career i’ve done morning drive and mid day TV in entertainment news.
I am known for my Bless it of the day in Austin, TX since cracking the mic in 2019!
Since being in ATX I have also entered into the influencer world. My content is always natural and fun and relatable. I aways want to be good vibes and your best friend!
What were you like growing up?
I am a LEO so I have an outgoing personality and my family isn’t surprised I found radio as a career cause I love to talk!
