Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Worth.
Hi Jennifer, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My husband and I first started framing with vintage frames at our retail store, South Austin Gallery (located at South 1st & Mary), back in 2010. My husband wanted to offer a service that would allow artists to frame and sell multiple pieces of their art as well as providing local Austinites an affordable way to frame their live music posters. In 2016, we decided to close the South 1st location (we had/still have our warehouse where we hand-make all of our products). For the next two years, I received multiple emails and calls from distraught framing clients, so I decided to turn my garage into my framing studio and start framing again. That is how Vintage Framing Studio was born. I have a large selection of vintage frames in all sizes up to about 30×40. I also sneak in a few new USA-made frames in order to accommodate for all of the live music posters that I frame.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think what sets my framing business apart is not only the fact that I recycle and reuse frames (and the glass, hardware, etc), but the service that I offer. I love working with my clients to find the perfect, one of a kind frames for their pieces; we work as team and I try to make it a super fun experience. My affordable pricing also helps.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I contribute my success to my amazing framing clients through their constant word of mouth referrals, positive reviews and repeat visits.
