Today we’d like to introduce you to Kendle Bomersbach.
Hi Kendle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
In January of 2025, I took a leap I never imagined would shape my future. Six months postpartum, I lost my job and was faced with the question so many moms know all too well: what now? What started as a simple love for preparing food for my family and friends turned into a business that’s been embraced far beyond what I ever dreamed.
That’s how Just A Little Charcuterie Bar was born. In just a few short months, I’ve been honored to bring my girly-yet-polished style to South Texas through custom charcuterie boards, lavish grazing tables, and my one-of-a-kind charcuterie cart, fully custom-built by Connor Chumchal. I’ve also launched a creative collaboration, the Bites, Bevs & Books Box, with local book store owner Jessica Armstrong, blending snacks and books into a monthly treat that’s truly any girls dream night in.
At its heart, my business is about more than just food. Charcuterie is the kind of thing that makes people light up and say “ooohhh, charcuterie!” the moment it’s set on the table. At the end of the day, Just A Little Charcuterie Bar is about bringing people together. Whether it’s through a grazing table that becomes the centerpiece of a celebration, a custom board shared on a quiet night in, or a book box that mixes snacks with stories.
I never set out to build a business this quickly, but I’ve learned that when you pair passion with purpose, big things can happen. I’m proud of what I’ve created, grateful for every customer who’s supported me, and excited to keep finding new ways to share a little joy (and a lot of cheese) with South Texas.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For the most part, it really has been a smooth ride! I’ve had to get creative here and there, especially when it comes to making things happen on a budget or pulling together something new for a client. But honestly, I think that’s the fun of it. Every little “bump” has just been an opportunity to get resourceful and use my imagination — and I’m proud of how those moments have shaped my business.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m most well known for the grazing tables because hello! When you see a grazing table at an event people are immediately drawn to it whether they are hungry or just want to look at the giant spread of food. Every grazing table I create a Instagram reel that is a sped up version of me making the grazing table (basically an hour/2 hours of work in just 60 seconds) and I put a silly VO over it and people love it.
On top of owning a charcuterie business, I’m also a social media manager, so I’m a creative through in through and social media is a huge part of my business.
Something I believe that sets me apart from others is I ALWAYS delivery exceptional customer service. That doesn’t seem like much, but I promise I will go over the moon for a customer, I want everyone to feel important. I want my followers on Instagram and Facebook to feel like they’re in my own personal charcuterie club!
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
It still amazes me that in such a short time, this business has gone from an idea in my kitchen to serving events, markets, and homes all across South Texas. I’ll always keep it fun, approachable, and a little girly, but behind every board is a whole lot of heart — and I can’t wait to see how Just A Little Charcuterie Bar continues to grow..
Oh! And sometimes I do brunch spreads! They are my favorite to make.
