Rising Stars: Meet Kiki Ambrose of Austin, TX

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiki Ambrose

Hi Kiki, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, my name is Kiki Ambrose born Kiara Crayton is a Houston native that also has roots in Austin, Tx. I began singing at the early age of 3 years old after being influenced by aunt and grandfather who both shared musical talents. I wrote her first song in 2013 titled “Numb” and later went on to write many more songs as i grew to learn that music was my passion. As an aspiring artist on the rise I hope to present and bring back my take on r&b music that resonates with the emotions that come with r&b music and share it
with the world.

I gained social media in fame in the summer of 2024 along side of my brother with our take on popular song “Meeting in my bedroom” by 90’s R&B group Silk. I have absorbed my musical talents from an array of artist such as Fantasia, Tony Braxton, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and many more. While on my journey I have released single “HML” and have released my first EP titled “PHASES”. With the support of my family and friends along with my new found fan base, I plan on using my platform to bring true R&B back and create music that uplifts others.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have been in the music industry for almost 10 years and it’s never easy but the grind never stops! It takes the right person and connections to truly be seen but with hard work and dedication it’s possible. It starts with your hometown, where you are from and the support of your locals.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m most proud of the support that I’ve gained from people all over the world. Becoming an influencer has been truly life changing! I feel what set me apart is my emotional connection with listeners.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes, I learned that health is wealth and if I’m not healthy or create healthy habits then how can I be the best version of myself to continue to do what I love the most, sing !!!
