Rising Stars: Meet Tony Jupiter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Jupiter. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Tony Jupiter is a solo project that was started in high school but eventually became a new band with collaborative musicians. Tony Jupiter was the outcome of rebellion after high school when you realize the world isn’t perfect or clean so you have to do what you can to Stand out and leave a stamp of who you are and what you are gonna be known for when you die.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Growing up, nobody really understood me or my music taste. I was always the funny side character you see in T.V shows, when I expressed my music in other projects before Tony Jupiter everyone would never take it seriously, a lot of bullying experiences came from this. Eventually, I learned how to Frankenstein my music, making it fun more upbeat a change from my previous projects. It has not been easy growing our name we have learned a lot from playing live shows and releasing music and connecting with other artists. We are currently grinding and working very hard till we are satisfied. Took us a good three years to get steady jobs, steady members and awesome fans

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I come home from a long day and work on my music on my little Mac laptop and constantly write new music till I feel confident enough to release it. On the weekends we play shows for our fans and anyone new that wants to join the party. I am most known in El Paso for wearing a cheap clown mask as our logo from the movie “JOKER” which has helped us so much with standing out, most known for our most popular songs at the moment “Disco at a grave” and “Chinese Takeout”. I am really proud I came up with these two songs that are considered anthems in El Paso…

Funny thing is I spent less time recording these songs with less work, and somehow they became our top two songs.

We are a very active band on stage and our persona of not caring what people think and rebellion helps differ from most of the bands in EP. in simple words.

We are real we are villains.

You get what you get.

What matters most to you?
My band members matter to me most because they offer to learn the songs I’ve written, take the time to practice and play live with me… I appreciate them so much they are my family and I will love them forever… on the same note, I love all our fans I would die for them and protect them at all costs without them, I wouldn’t have the energy to keep going they are my posse and I will stop at nothing to keep them happy.
