Tuggs, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I have started getting up at 5am, and heading to the gym. I’m not always consistent, but I’m working on being more disciplined! I’m there for about an hour, and then I head back home to take the dog on his morning walk!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tuggs, and I am a streamer/content creator.
Mostly I do live gaming streams over on Youtube, Twitch and Kick, but I also do lifestyle type videos on my Instagram! I have also recently started diving back into the Bible, so I have a series on my YouTube channel called Java With Jesus, and it’s a daily Bible Study and devotional.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I could do anything!
I think most children truly believe that they can be, or do, anything. There is no limit to them in the world.
As we get older, we get beat down by others telling us that we can’t, and we start to believe it. We give up on our dreams.
And while logically speaking there are SOME things I actually physically can’t do (like fly without an airplane, for example), I have begun to believe in myself again. I have begun to have that child-like way of looking at the world like “watch me”.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You are going to be okay. It’s not your fault, and you are not responsible for how other people act. Your positivity, happiness, and excitement about life are your strengths, not weaknesses.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I went through a lot, and came out the other side by the grace of Jesus. That I was kind and loving, and gave it my all.
