Today we’d like to introduce you to Badmon Zae.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
I started my creative journey wanting to get into fashion design, but rap was also my passion. In 2018 I felt that to succeed in either one, I would have to make a choice. They were both my passion, but I went with music and decided to pursue it full-time. I have been making music full-time since, and in 2021, I signed up for 1017 Brick Squad Mafia with Og Mack Drama.
Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a roller coaster. At one point, juggling work and music was exhausting, but you must keep going. On top of work and working on albums, I was also Djing. I was constantly working with very little time to myself. Tired became my permanent response to How are you doing? Some of my struggles were similar to those of other upcoming artists. You must deal with performance anxiety, imposters syndrome, and writer’s block.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a rapper from Killeen, TX. I specialize in unorthodox delivery, unique tones, and cadences. I also pride myself on pushing the boundaries of what rap music is evolving into. I’m most proud of my growth on a personal level. My professional accomplishments are only possible by growing as much as I have.

Integrity because I am a man who stands on my moral compass. I am referring to both artistic and moral integrity. I would not be the person I am today if I did not adhere to my morals.
