Today we’d like to introduce you to Lamesk8.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Lamesk8 started as unisex skateboarding brand back in 2017 with skateboards, hats and tees that recently became a custom streetwear brand influenced by my skateboarding upbringing. I would work long nights as a vendor in downtown Atx until recently, I have been a part of local fashion events and pop ups along with starting a series called Underground Runway to support local artists and designers. Unfortunately, when the first show had debut we had an emergency shut down but Kamm from Paradox Production Studios and I plan to continue in 2022.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a full-time mama and business owner, it can be challenging but I wouldn’t change the learning experience and I can’t thank enough to the ones that have helped me along the way but I like to say as my motto is “whole lot of team sh*t.”

I am a full-time custom clothing brand that specializes in unisex streetwear but am not limited and enjoy unique customs that come my way!

I’m not from the capital but I’ve been an Atx local for about six years now and love our local creatives from plant entrepreneurs to all types of artists to our skateboarding community and don’t have anything negative to say about Atx!
