Hidden Gems: Meet Ellie Adams of Saturn Season Astrology

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ellie Adams.

Hi Ellie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
How did my astrology journey begin? My mother.

She was always very interested in astrology when I was young and got me into Sun Signs and Moon Signs when I was in elementary school. This interest in more basic level astrological knowledge quickly became a passion, and I was hungry at that point to learn anything and everything I could about how to read a natal chart and go deeper with the discipline. Ever since then (I’m 34 now, for reference) I’ve been expanding my knowledge in different areas of astrological study – completely self-taught. Astrology runs through my soul like blood runs through my veins.

It wasn’t until 2018, a year after my Saturn Return happened (hahahaha!) that I opened my own astrological practice, and Saturn Season Astrology was born (www.saturnseason.com and on Instagram @saturnseasonastrology). That Saturn Return of mine (and the birth of my child) really kicked my sense of survival into gear and I was left wondering, “what the hell am I going to do with my life for the both of us, to contribute financially and to make ends meet?” Side note: There is nothing like having a child to kick that sense of survival into gear in a whole new way. Then it dawned on me: “YOU READ NATAL CHARTS! DO THAT!” This epiphany is when a personal “revival” occurred (or even a “rebirth”). So, reading natal charts (and all other kinds of astrology charts) is what I started doing and have been doing ever since. Astrology really is one of the “great loves” of my life.

As of now, I have my own astrology practice, Saturn Season Astrology, that I mentioned above. My good friend Natalie (who is also an astrologer) and myself created a learning tool for other people to learn this astrological language, and they are called The Star Cards (www.letsfuckwithastrology.com/star-cards). We also created the subreddit r/LetsFuckWithAstrology which we moderate. The Galactic Center is a specific area of focus from an astrological lens that I’m looking into at the moment – it is fascinating! There is a whole bunch of research that I’ve done over the past year and a half on the Galactic Center (and what I’m calling the “Galactic Grand Cross”), so it’s pretty near and dear to my heart.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Not entirely (though I’m not blind to the fact that other people have had far bumpier roads). The obstacles and challenges I’ve had in my life definitely shaped who I am today, and for that I am grateful for them…because I rather like who I am today and the person that took shape from everything I’ve been through. 

We’ve been impressed with Saturn Season Astrology, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Saturn Season Astrology was born in 2018 after my own “rebirth” or “revival” of sorts. It is a “rebirth” that I hope to bring to each one of my clients, too. I would consider myself to be an “Eclectic Astrologer” – I don’t adhere to one specific type of astrological practice and believe there is value in the old/traditional techniques and the new/modern methods. I also incorporate elements of psychology in the work that I do. Blending schools of thought is my thing, along with taking a holistic approach to chart reading. I will take the entire natal chart into account when reading – breaking things down piece by piece and weaving the chart back together to give you your unique astrological “roadmap” or “guidebook”. Things just start to “click” for a person about themselves when they see themselves from an astrological lens – their strengths, challenges, and everything in-between no longer feel unexplained or unseen (if they did before). Things that are already known click into a higher-powered focus. Things just make sense.

I offer a safe and healing space for you to take a deep dive into yourself and your own astrological biography. I am not a fatalist – we have the free will to decide what we do with our own astrological makeup (very little is actually “set in stone”). I help you utilize your inherent strengths and work with (or around) any challenges that show up in the chart to help you live your life to the fullest. I will meet you where you are, wherever that is in life, and you will feel seen and heard.

This is a really interesting question. I’m sure “luck” did play in a little bit with where I currently am in life, but I’d like to give myself and my own hard work and hustle more credit – I’ve worked my ass off too hard for the past three years building my business to give “luck” too much credit here. ^_^
