We recently had the chance to connect with Ameris Reynaert & Eric Reynaert and have shared our conversation below.
Ameris & Eric, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: When was the last time you felt true joy?
We recently went camping for our 9 year anniversary and on the lake were an abundance of white lotus flowers. With reverence and intention we collected some and I turned them into a hydrosol and dried some for tea. I felt joy because I made these beautiful products, because nature is so abundant and gracious, and because everything we need is not only provided but is provided for free. Mostly we felt joy because the soul of our daughter who has yet to come to Earth visits us through lotus signs, so it was extra special.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We are Ameris and Eric, the guides and founders of Loving Consciously. Through 9 years together we have experienced extremes of both the challenges of unconscious relating and the magic of Divine Union, discovering that our deepest shadows and patterns hold our greatest gifts. Our remarkable love story is a profound testament to the power of God’s love and it is with deep reverence that we transparently share our journey to support others along the path of awakening, healing, and loving.
Technically, Loving Consciously is a spiritual community and sanctuary that holds a podcast, coaching, and an upcoming online academy. Spiritually, Loving Consciously is a revolutionary new way of love offered as support along the journey home to love. This path is one in which you devote your life to seeking conscious awakening, radical multidimensional healing, and the embodiment of unconditional love.
All of the pillars of Loving Consciously serve the purpose of fueling deeper levels of awareness and healing, critical steps in guiding humanity to return home to God and our natural state of love. Loving Consciously, guided by the Truth of God’s unconditional love, is on a mission to amplify Truth and help humanity learn how to consciously love and relate. Together in unity Loving Consciously is holding the vision of a new world of love where every being, action, and creation is aligned with love’s highest expression.
It is our deepest intention and prayer that you will experience your own revelation in which you remember your natural state is one in which you easefully and eternally always choose love.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
We saw each other clearly on a soul level before either of us had reached a place of awakening and healing enough to remember and reawaken our true essence. To us, this is the power of love, to so fully and unconditionally see and honor everyone’s highest expression. Conscious love is an evolution of love that chooses to see everyone for their highest expression, their inner child, and the perfectly whole and complete soul they were created as.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering becomes such a profound gift and powerful teacher when we transcend the consciousness of victimization (life is happening TO me) and rise into our power as creators (life is happening FOR me). We have both experienced immense suffering, which is exactly what supported us in such a powerful and radical awakening and healing journey. Through walking many years of financial, spiritual, emotional, and mental suffering from trauma, grief and loss, and great challenges in our 9 year partnership we came to learn this about suffering:
Suffering is a choice, just as love is a choice. At any moment we have the power to make a choice. Do we choose gratitude, humility, surrender, and grace… or do we choose anger, resistance, judgement, and separation? When we come to remember that love is all that there is, that love is our natural state, and that we have the power to alchemize anything in our life into something powerful to serve others – this is when we transcend suffering. Pain into purpose.
We have found it helpful to ask “what is this hear to help me learn/heal?” Moving from resisting, judging, and attaching to the experience to witnessing, loving, and releasing is where true freedom lies.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
We are devoted to serving love by helping to co-create a new world of love. A core value of the Loving Consciously mission is architecting a world founded on love through the communion and prosperity of all. In this synergistic way of relating, we co-create together for the betterment of humanity and the Earth because we know when one of us succeeds, we all succeed. We believe in the power of love to heal and transform all things, we believe in the inherent goodness of humanity, and we believe that the Truth of Creation is ready to be unveiled to the world. Through this reality shifting, global, once in history shift we can and will reach lasting peace on Earth.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
We are in no way unique or special in that this knowing is accessible and destined for all of humanity to remember: our deepest moment of awakening happened as a revelation of love. This brought a profound innerstanding that:
Love is the answer.
Love is the way forward.
Anything can be healed with the power of embodied unconditional love.
Every challenging moment is an opportunity for us to come home to love and to bring more love into this world.
Love is the fabric of Creation, it is from love we come and to love we will return.
