We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jimmy Ninja Chaikong. Check out our conversation below.

Jimmy , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have you stood up for someone when it cost you something?
For about 8 years I was running a promotion called the Texas state songwriters Championship we played all over the state from the Stockyards to South by Southwest often and some of the venues especially in my own hometown venue owners did not want the Hip Hop element in their establishments and I had to fight to keep that part of original music in the Texas songwriters championship and I did at the cost of many venues which always bothered me sometimes because a lot of times the artist didn’t even appreciate the effort I was putting into fight for everybody’s equal treatment yet I know and that mattered to me because since I was born in Thailand and grew up in Texas I experienced a lot of racism going up so it meant something to me it still does to fight for justice and inequality

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
I love that question what was the first feeling of feeling powerful I remember in Middle School for some reason I was asked to do the Lincoln Douglas debate by my speech teacher and at that time my conditioning and programming was that I wasn’t very bright and that I was a wild and even bad kid yet I went in there with no notes and no preparation and destroyed all of the kids deemed advanced and much smarter than me just off the top of my dome and I realized that day that I was not only smart that I was above intelligence I just never really had the right reinforcement in home or in the public to believe in myself and from that moment on it’s been a journey yet I have to say finally I believe in myself and no just how intelligent and tapped in I am, did I mention I won the Lincoln Douglas All City debate middle school with no prep and no preparation and no notes just off the top of my dome LOL

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
From the very beginning I was this alien different than everyone else growing up in West Texas I knew very few Asian American kids up until high school and we didn’t really hang out with one another cuz we were all trying to fit in with the mainstream so being different feeling different having the public tell me almost every day that I was different created a lot of insecurity and self-esteem wounds that over the years even after being on TV and movies and dating beautiful women and doing things at the average person would only dream of I could never find that value and just last year an incident occurred that really opened my eyes to my value and healing my abandonment wounds and attachment issues and I’ve not been the same since it’s been an interesting quickening it was since that last eclipse to April’s ago and I have stepped into my highest timeline and began to operate in the highest magic that I’ve ever known and I’m so thankful to be able to become this person finally and to share my knowledge not with just my friends and family and fans but most definitely my kids, “You’re a Wizard Harry 🪄”

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Well I’ve never spent as long as I’ve spent recovering from my album 20 years ago to come back and work on it for the past 5 years we just recorded what I keep saying is the last song even though there might be another one next month but once we finish this album Pearl which I shot the music video there at Barton Springs in Austin and recorded half the album there I’m really satisfied to know this is 100% the greatest album of my life I’m so excited to share it with people as an entirety on a vinyl and the new songs off of it and just my new energy and new vibe

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. Have you ever gotten what you wanted, and found it did not satisfy you?
You know when I was living in New York City I was experiencing everything I was rubbing elbows with famous people I was being limo to the studio and I was really living my dream yet at that time I still hadn’t healed from my wounds of my past and my PTSD and systematic PTSD and something that I just learned this past year was until you really heal from those things until you take the time and have the courage to face those things and address why you feel that way and what incidence is in your past created those feelings you’ll never be satisfied with any accomplishment more than a very short period so my greatest gift to myself has been focusing on healing from these wounds so that I could be my best self and not just be it but cherish it’s accomplishment
